  • How do I become a PharmServ pharmacist?

    Apply online by filling out the application form or by calling us. We'll be happy to assist you.

  • What are the current requirements for traveling pharmacists?

    Requirements vary depending on your specialty. But it is required to provide a pharmacy license along with employer references of good repute.

  • What is the typical duration of a travel assignment?

    The assignments will vary in duration usually. Short and long assignments are available occasionally.

  • How long is my commitment for an assignment?

    While accepting an assignment, we seek your commitment for the entire duration of the assignment. You are under no obligation either with our client or us after the completion of the assignment.

  • How will PharmServ prepare me for my assignment?

    You will receive an email with all the information required to begin your assignment, including accommodations.


  • Where can I go?

    You have the freedom to travel almost anywhere in Iowa when you are with us. There are open positions in small towns and large cities.

  • What will my salary be?

    Pay rates vary depending on your specialties, experience, facility and location.

  • When and how will I be paid?

    We follow a biweekly pay system. Your check will be deposited on every alternate Friday.

  • How are my taxes handled?

    We'll withhold your taxes as your employer. You'll receive a W-2 form at the end of the year. Call us to learn more.

  • What happens once my assignment is complete?

    You can continue with the client if they want to extend your assignment. If either you or the client does not want to extend the current assignment, you may contact us or visit our website for a new assignment.
