Inpatient Clinical Pharmacist 

Direct - Hire – Central, MN region

PharmServ has a Direct – Hire,  part-time opportunity (32 hours a week) with a large hospital pharmacy. The facility is located 54 miles southeast of St. Cloud, MN, where they provide care to patients across Minnesota and western Wisconsin. 

This hospital pharmacy supports both inpatient and infusion services across a large two-campus health system in the north metro area. Pharmacists here take part in the full spectrum of care. From verifying and preparing medications to guiding therapy decisions and supporting clinical teams. The role involves steady coordination with nurses and providers to keep care consistent and patient-centered across departments.

Facility Duties and Expectations:  

• Review and verify physician orders for accuracy, dosage, and appropriateness 
• Evaluate potential interactions, duplications, and therapeutic alternatives 
• Compound and dispense medications and IV admixtures per facility standards 
• Provide patient counseling and education on new or complex therapies 
•  Coordinate with care teams to optimize medication selection and treatment outcomes 
• Support home-infusion patients by preparing and monitoring individualized therapies 
• Ensure compliance with all pharmacy regulations, controlled-substance procedures, and documentation requirements 
• Assist in the orientation and training of pharmacy staff, interns, or residents 
• Participate in quality-improvement initiatives and medication-safety programs 

Schedule:  

• 32 hours per week 
• 8 hour shifts 
• PRN – day, evening, and/or night shifts 
• Every 3rd weekend rotation 
    

Required Qualifications:  

• A Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) or Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.S. Pharm.) degree from an accredited institution 
• Valid, active pharmacist license in Minnesota in good standing with the Minnesota Board of Pharmacy 

Preferred Qualifications 

• Completion of accredited residency program or equivalent Pharmacy experience 
• 2–5 years of hospital or home-infusion pharmacy experience
