PharmServ has a PRN opportunity with a retail community pharmacy 68 miles northeast of Fort Dodge, IA. This pharmacy offers a true small-town feel where patient care and personal connection come first. Pharmacists stepping into this role will find a well-trained, supportive staff who will help manage daily operations and provide guidance on store workflows and priorities. 

The pharmacy maintains a steady prescription volume that keeps each day engaging without being overwhelming, allowing you to focus on accuracy, service, and meaningful patient interactions. Coverage needs are ongoing through October, allowing you to choose your shifts based on your availability.

Compensation for this Position:  

• Your current hourly rate with PharmServ 
• Mileage reimbursement 
• Drivetime 
• Lodging and Per Diem if needed. 

Facility Duties and Expectations:  

• Accurately verify and dispense prescriptions, ensuring patient safety and precision 
• Provide patient counseling, answer questions, and ensure customers understand their medications 
• Partner with pharmacy technicians and front-end staff to maintain an organized, efficient workflow 
• Support vaccine and immunization services within your license 
• Uphold documentation accuracy, inventory integrity, and compliance with all pharmacy regulations 
• Contribute to a positive, service-driven environment that reflects the values of a community-centered pharmacy 

Hours of Operation:  

• Friday: 9a – 6p 
• Saturday: 9a -1p 
• Pharmacists work the shifts they choose to accept. 
    

Required Qualifications:  

• A Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) or Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.S. Pharm.) degree from an accredited institution 
• Valid, active pharmacist license in Iowa in good standing with the Iowa Board of Pharmacy 
• BCLS certification 

Preferred Qualifications:  

• Experience in Community Retail pharmacy setting 
• Immunization Administration is prefered but not required
