PharmServ is offering a PRN opportunity with a regional community pharmacy chain in East Central, Iowa, 25 miles south of Dubuque. Your presence allows the pharmacy to continue to serve the community without interruption. Here you will perform standard retail duties, helping maintain the steady, trusted care local patients rely on.

Compensation for this Position:  

• Your current competitive hourly rate with PharmServ 
• Mileage reimbursement 
• Drivetime 
• Lodging and Per Diem if needed 

Facility Duties and Expectations:  

• Verify prescriptions accurately and efficiently in a single-pharmacist retail setting 
• Provide thorough patient counseling and answer questions from patients, providers, and staff 
• Administer immunizations if certified 
• Work within established technician-led workflows, including basket prioritization systems 
• Support technicians when needed with filling, locating, and organizing medications 
• Oversee compliant handling of controlled substances and regulated products 
• Ensure the pharmacy is secured properly at opening and close 
• Communicate proactively with PharmServ and pharmacy leadership regarding scheduling or issues 

Schedule: 

• Ongoing coverage as needed. 
• Pharmacist choose the shifts they work. 

Required Qualifications:  

• A Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) or Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.S. Pharm.) degree from an accredited institution 
• Valid, Active pharmacist license in Iowa, in good standing with the Iowa Board of Pharmacy 
• BCLS certification 

Preferred Qualifications:  

• Immunization Admin. Certification
