Community Retail Pharmacist

PharmServ offers a Full-time position with an established community pharmacy group in Northwest, Iowa, 10 miles north of Sioux Center. This is a traditional community pharmacy setting. If you’ve grown up in small-town Iowa, then this environment will be familiar. Here you have a chance to build rapport with patients and become an engaged member of the community. 
 
Here, you can practice at the top your license and are more than a dispenser. You’ll join a supportive team that cares about making sure the day goes smoothly and that patients are cared for.

Compensation for this Position:  

• Your current competitive hourly rate with PharmServ 
• Mileage reimbursement 
• Drivetime 
• Lodging and Per Diem if needed 

Facility Duties and Expectations:  

• Provide prompt, professional service to pharmacy patients and store customers 
• Verify, compound, and dispense medications according to professional standards 
• Maintain safe and efficient pharmacy workflow when lead leadership is not onsite 
• Counsel patients and communicate with prescribers and healthcare providers 
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local pharmacy regulations 
• Support daily pharmacy operations and team coordination 
• Represent the pharmacy professionally within the community 
• Complete additional operational duties as needed 

Hours of operation: 

• Mon – Fri
• 8:30a – 5:30p 
• Sat – Sun:
• Closed 

Required Qualifications:  

• A Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) or Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.S. Pharm.) degree from an accredited institution 
• Valid, Active pharmacist license in Iowa, in good standing with the Iowa Board of Pharmacy 
• BCLS certification 

Preferred Qualifications:  

• Immunization Admin. Certification
