In this role, you’ll step into a retail workflow with store teams who know their customers and keep things organized. Pharmacists here stay hands-on with patient care, verification, counseling, and immunizations while working in stores that balance pharmacy with traditional retail. Compensation for this Position:
- Your current competitive hourly rate with PharmServ
- Mileage reimbursement
- Drivetime
- Lodging and Per Diem if needed
Facility Duties and Expectations:
- Verify and dispense prescriptions accurately and efficiently
- Provide patient counseling on new medications, OTC products, and vaccines
- Administer immunizations as needed
- Work closely with technicians to support daily workflow
- Review patient profiles for interactions, dosing, and safety concerns
- Assist with inventory management and routine compliance tasks
- Communicate clearly with store staff and healthcare providers
- Adapt and integrate into the work environment smoothly
Schedule:
- Pharmacists choose the shifts they work.
- Ongoing coverage as needed.
Required Qualifications:
- A Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) or Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.S. Pharm.) degree from an accredited institution
- Valid, Active pharmacist license in Illinois, in good standing with the Iowa Board of Pharmacy
- BCLS certification
Preferred Qualifications:
- Immunization Admin. Certification
