Clinical Inpatient Pharmacist 

PRN – Central, MN region

PharmServ has a part-time opportunity with a clinical pharmacy 10 miles north of Bloomington, MN. This pharmacy operates in one of the region’s main centers for care, known for serving patients from every background with respect and consistency. The pharmacy works closely with medical and nursing staff in a setting that values teamwork, communication, and steady clinical practice.

Compensation for this Position:  

• Wage – up to $93.48/hr

Facility Duties and Expectations:  

• Verify, prepare, and dispense medications with accuracy and care 
• Review and interpret physician orders, checking for proper dosing, interactions, and duration of therapy 
• Monitor patient medication profiles and provide recommendations as needed 
• Offer drug information and consultation to medical and nursing staff 
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory and controlled substance requirements 
• Oversee or assist in the training of pharmacy technicians, interns, and students 
• Provide patient counseling and education when appropriate 
• Maintain knowledge of current pharmacy practices and new clinical developments 
• Assist with staff coverage and workflow coordination as required 

Schedule:  

• Part-Time 
• 64 hours per pay period 
• Evening shifts 
• Every 3rd weekend rotation 
    

Required Qualifications:  

• A Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) or Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.S. Pharm.) degree from an accredited institution 
• Valid, active pharmacist license in Minnesota in good standing with the Minnesota Board of Pharmacy 

Preferred Qualifications:  

• ASHP Accredited residency 
• One year experience as pharmacist in hospital setting
