Retail Community Pharmacist 

PRN – Eastern, MN region

PharmServ has a PRN opportunity with a retail community pharmacy 53 miles east of Rochester, MN. The pharmacy serves a loyal local customer base and has an experienced team familiar with store systems and daily workflow. 

Pharmacists in this role focus on prescription verification, patient counseling, and immunizations while helping the staff maintain smooth operations. It’s a steady, well-supported setting where clear communication and reliability go a long way. 

Compensation for this Position:  

• Your current hourly rate with PharmServ 
• Mileage reimbursement 
• Drivetime 
• Lodging and Per Diem if needed. 

Facility Duties and Expectations:  

• Verify prescriptions for accuracy, safety, and compliance with state and federal laws 
• Provide patient counseling on new and refill medications 
• Administer immunizations and assist with vaccination workflow 
• Work closely with technicians and store staff to manage prescription volume and maintain an organized pharmacy 
• Support daily operations including order verification, inventory management, and proper recordkeeping 
• Ensure accuracy and efficiency during peak hours while maintaining friendly, professional communication with patients and coworkers 
• Contribute to a dependable, team-oriented environment focused on patient care and community service 

Schedule:  

• Starting 11/17: Monday – Friday 8a – 5p or 10a – 7p 
• Plus, additional ongoing coverage as needed 
• Pharmacists work the shifts they choose to accept. 
    

Required Qualifications:  

• A Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) or Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.S. Pharm.) degree from an accredited institution 
• Valid, active pharmacist license in Minnesota in good standing with the Minnesota Board of Pharmacy 
• BCLS certification 

Preferred Qualifications: 

• Immunization Administration Certification
