PharmServ has a PRN opportunity with a pharmacy located inside a community behavioral health clinic 69miles Southeast of Effingham, IL. The pharmacy supports patients receiving outpatient mental health and addiction-treatment services, offering a workflow that blends standard retail processes with a calmer, more structured pace. 


This setting is a good fit for pharmacists who like clean verification work, steady patient interactions, and a team that keeps things organized. The staff is welcoming, the expectations are clear, and the role is straightforward: verify, dispense, communicate well, and help patients stay on track with their medications.

Compensation for this Position:  

  • Your current hourly rate with PharmServ 
  • Mileage reimbursement 
  • Drivetime 
  • Lodging and Per Diem if needed 
     

 

Facility Duties and Expectations:  

  • Verify prescriptions for accuracy, safety, dosing, and clinical appropriateness 
  • Dispense medications and assist with daily workflow with the on-site technicians 
  • Support patients picking up behavioral-health and chronic-condition medications 
  • Provide clear, simple counseling when needed 
  • Assist with insurance troubleshooting and communication with clinic staff 
  • Maintain required documentation and uphold state and federal pharmacy regulations 
  • Adapt to clinic workflow and collaborate with support staff when volumes fluctuate 
  • Maintain a respectful, patient-centered approach, especially with vulnerable populations 

 

 

Schedule: 

  • Pharmacists choose the shifts they work. 
  • Ongoing coverage needed 

 

 

Required Qualifications:  

  • A Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) or Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.S. Pharm.) degree from an accredited institution 
  • Valid, Active pharmacist license in Illinois, in good standing with the Illinois Board of Pharmacy 
  • BCLS certification 

 

 

Preferred Qualifications:  

  • Immunization Admin. Certification
