Hospital Pharmacist 

PRN – Central, IA region 

Start Date:  ASAP until position is filled

Experience professional freedom like never before! We have a PRN opening with a hospital in the Central Iowa area.  This role supports several clinical areas across the hospital. This setting  provides pharmacists with the opportunity to remain in both order review and patient-level clinical work. Shifts are steady and hands-on, and you’ll work directly with a variety of care teams throughout the facility.

Compensation for this Position:  

• Your current hourly rate with PharmServ 
• Mileage reimbursement 
• Drivetime 
• Lodging and Per Diem if needed 

Facility Duties and Expectations:  

• Review and verify medication orders for safety and dosing 
• Perform daily clinical reviews for assigned units 
• Provide drug information to nurses and providers 
• Document interventions, consults, and patient counseling 
• Support therapeutic drug monitoring and dosing adjustments 
• Prepare sterile products as needed 
• Assist with quality, regulatory, and department tasks 
• Use hospital systems to manage workflow efficiently 

Schedule: 

• Ongoing coverage as needed. 
• Pharmacists choose the shifts they work.
