PharmServ Staffing is seeking a staff pharmacist for a temp-to-hire opportunity with an independent community retail pharmacy near Cedar Rapids, Iowa. 

This is an excellent opportunity for a pharmacist who enjoys the personal side of pharmacy and wants to become an integral part of a close-knit team. Start with PharmServ on a temporary basis and, if it’s the right fit for both you and the pharmacy, transition into a permanent position.

What You’ll Do 

• Verify and dispense prescriptions accurately and efficiently 
• Counsel patients and provide personalized care 
• Answer patient, physician, technician, and nursing questions 
• Administer immunizations if certified 
• Work alongside the technician to keep the pharmacy running smoothly 
• Assist with the register, phones, and other pharmacy operations when needed 
• Verify prepackaged medications and long-term care orders 
• Pitch in wherever needed to support the pharmacy and your team 

What We’re Looking For 

• Active Iowa pharmacist license 
• Community/retail pharmacy experience preferred 
• A team-oriented pharmacist who is willing to pitch in and be hands-on 
• Strong communication and patient-care skills 
• Someone interested in finding a long-term fit with a community pharmacy

Compensation for this assignment includes:  

• Your current hourly rate with PharmServ 
• Mileage  
• Drivetime 
• Lodging and Per Diem if needed.
