PharmServ has partnered with a regional behavioral health pharmacy chain to provide PRN coverage at its pharmacies. This facility is 95 miles north of Council Bluffs. They focus on timely dispensing and patient relationships. Patients see the pharmacy as an extension of their provider, so accuracy and consistency matter.

Compensation for this Position:  

• Your current competitive hourly rate with PharmServ 
• Mileage reimbursement 
• Drivetime 
• Lodging and Per Diem if needed 

Facility Duties and Expectations:  

• Accurately review and verify prescriptions while keeping the day moving forward and organized 
• Work with the pharmacy team to ensure medications are filled and ready on time 
• Stay ahead of daily volume by anticipating needs and preventing slowdowns 
• Communicate clearly with staff on priorities, updates, and any issues that come up 
• Handle medication packaging with attention to detail and compliance in mind 
• Keep your workspace clean and follow all standard pharmacy procedures and regulations 

Schedule: 

• Multiple dates in June & July 
• 8:30a - 5p 
• Pharmacists choose the shifts they work. 
• Ongoing coverage as needed. 

Required Qualifications:  

• A Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) or Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.S. Pharm.) degree from an accredited institution 
• Valid, Active pharmacist license in Iowa, in good standing with the Iowa Board of Pharmacy 
• BCLS certification 

Preferred Qualifications:  

• Immunization Admin. Certification
