PharmServ has a Direct - Hire opportunity with a retail community pharmacy 78 miles northeast of Waterloo, IA. The pharmacy is part of an employee-owned organization with a 140 year long history of helping patients and supporting the Midwest communities it serves.

Compensation for this Position:

Facility Duties and Expectations:  

• Verify and dispense prescriptions accurately and safely 
• Provide counseling and answer patient questions about medications and therapies 
• Administer immunizations and support other patient care programs 
• Coordinate with pharmacy staff to ensure efficient workflow and timely service 
• Oversee daily operations when needed and assist with store coordination 
• Support medication synchronization and refill programs to improve adherence 
• Build relationships with patients, providers, and local care facilities 
• Adapt to changing technologies and pharmacy systems as needed 
• Maintain compliance with all pharmacy laws and company policies 

Pharmacy Hours of Operation:  

• Monday – Friday: 8:30a – 5:30p 
• Saturday: 8:30a – 1:30p 
• Sunday: Closed 
    

Required Qualifications:  

• A Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) or Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.S. Pharm.) degree from an accredited institution 
• Valid, active pharmacist license in Iowa in good standing with the Iowa Board of Pharmacy 

Preferred Qualifications: 

• Immunization Administration Certification 
• BCLS certification
