Retail Community Pharmacist

PharmServ is offering a PRN opportunity for a Regional Community Retail Pharmacy chain, located in North Central, Iowa. Here, the staff set the priorities, techs manage the systems, and you can focus on verification and patient care.

Compensation for this Position:  

• Your current hourly rate with PharmServ  
• Mileage reimbursement  
• Drivetime  
• Lodging and Per Diem if needed. 

Facility Duties and Expectations:  

• Provide friendly, prompt, and accurate service to patients and store staff 
• Verify prescriptions for safety, accuracy, and clinical appropriateness 
• Complete pre-verification and final verification responsibilities 
• Collaborate with technicians to maintain efficient workflow 
• Prioritize patient, prescription, and store needs throughout the day 
• Support a patient-first, service-focused pharmacy environment 
• Maintain compliance with state and federal pharmacy standards 

Schedule:  

• Ongoing coverage as needed. 
• Pharmacists work the shifts they choose to accept. 
    

Required Qualifications:  

• A Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) or Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.S. Pharm.) degree from an accredited institution 
• Valid, active pharmacist license in Iowa in good standing with the Iowa Board of Pharmacy 
• BCLS certification 

Preferred Qualifications:  

• Immunization Administration
