PharmServ has a PRN Long-term care Pharmacist opportunity with a well-regarded independent LTC pharmacy 5 miles East of Omaha. This pharmacy supports assisted living communities and nursing home residents. Everyone on this team pulls their weight so the pharmacy can run efficiently so that patients are well supported. 


At this pharmacy, you will help support daily operations. From verifying prescriptions to coordinating with staff, your role helps keep things organized and on track. Here, you can come in, do your job well, and make a difference.

Compensation for this Position:  

  • Your current competitive hourly rate with PharmServ 
  • Mileage reimbursement 
  • Drivetime 
  • Lodging and Per Diem if needed 

 

 

Facility Duties and Expectations:  

  • Verify and dispense prescriptions accurately for long-term care patients 
  • Support medication packaging and preparation for assisted living and nursing facilities 
  • Work with facility staff to coordinate medication orders and updates 
  • Assist with immunizations based on certification 
  • Help maintain organized workflow and timely medication delivery processes 
  • Collaborate with pharmacy team members to keep daily operations running smoothly 
  • Follow all state and federal pharmacy regulations and company procedures 

 


Schedule: 

  • Pharmacists choose the shifts they work. 
  • Ongoing coverage as needed. 

 

 

Required Qualifications:  

  • A Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) or Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.S. Pharm.) degree from an accredited institution 
  • Valid, Active pharmacist license in Iowa, in good standing with the Iowa Board of Pharmacy 
  • BCLS certification 

 

 

Preferred Qualifications:  

  • Immunization Admin. Certification
