PharmServ has a PRN Retail Community opportunity for a reliable pharmacist who is comfortable stepping into an established operation. The pharmacy is located 12 miles north of Iowa City. Compensation for this Position:  

• Your current competitive hourly rate with PharmServ 
• Mileage reimbursement 
• Drivetime 
• Lodging and Per Diem if needed 

Facility Duties and Expectations:  

• Accurately verify and dispense prescriptions for retail and long-term care patients. 
• Support medication packaging and preparation for assisted living and nursing facilities. 
• Coordinate with facility staff and providers to manage medication orders and updates. 
• Assist with immunizations as certified and support front-end patient interaction when needed. 
• Maintain organized workflow and ensure timely, safe medication delivery. 
• Collaborate with the pharmacy team while following all state, federal, and company regulations. 

Schedule: 

• Pharmacists choose the shifts they work. 
• Ongoing coverage as needed. 

Required Qualifications:  

• A Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) or Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.S. Pharm.) degree from an accredited institution 
• Valid, Active pharmacist license in Iowa, in good standing with the Iowa Board of Pharmacy 
• BCLS certification 

Preferred Qualifications:  

• Immunization Admin. Certification
