Clinical Pharmacist

PharmServ has a  part-time Direct-Hire opportunity with a highly regarded hospital-affiliated clinic pharmacy 96 miles west of Duluth, MN. Become a part of a hospital pharmacy team dedicated to delivering safe, high-quality care across both inpatient and outpatient settings 

This part time role (56 hours per pay period) offers pharmacists a hands-on environment. Where you can develop and apply their clinical expertise, working closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals. Collaborate with various health care teams to ensure accurate, evidence-based medication therapy while supporting process improvements and quality initiatives. Facility Duties and Expectations:  

• Review medication orders and make evidence-based adjustments to improve patient outcomes. 
• Track patient progress and ensure drug therapies remain safe and effective. 
• Coordinate closely with care teams to guide appropriate medication use across departments. 
• Support safe transitions of care by reviewing and updating patient medication lists. 
• Monitor potential side effects, interactions, or dosing concerns. 
• Provide education to patients, families, and staff on proper medication use and safety. 
• Take part in ongoing process improvement and hospital pharmacy initiatives. 
• Ensure all activities follow regulatory standards and internal procedures. 

Pharmacy Hours:  

• Work 56hr per pay period 
• Day/Evenings 
• Mon – Thur: 8a – 5:30p 
• Fri: 8a – 5p 
   

 Required Qualifications 

• A Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) or Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.S. Pharm.) degree from an accredited institution   
• Valid, active pharmacist license in Minnesota in good standing with the Minnesota Board of Pharmacy   
• BLS Certification 
• ACLS Certification (or obtain within one year) 
• Reliable and consistent attendance
