Retail/Clinic Pharmacist

PharmServ has a PRN opportunity 65 miles south of Minneapolis, MN, with a behavioral health facility. 

This facility is known for providing a wide range of mental health and wellness services, from outpatient counseling and recovery programs to residential support. The pharmacy is woven directly into that mission, serving both on-site patients and the wider community. Compensation for this Position:  

• Your current hourly rate with PharmServ 
• Mileage reimbursement 
• Drivetime 
• Lodging and Per Diem if needed. 

Facility Duties and Expectations:  

• Accurately dispense and verify medications for both inpatient and outpatient populations 
• Provide counseling and education to patients, families, and staff with a focus on behavioral health and recovery support 
• Collaborate with prescribers, nurses, and case managers to ensure safe and effective medication use 
• Monitor medication therapy for potential interactions, adherence issues, and clinical appropriateness 
• Support controlled substance management and maintain compliance with state and federal regulations 
• Assist in coordinating medication delivery for residential and outpatient programs 
• Document all clinical interventions and maintain accurate patient records 
• Contribute to a supportive, team-centered environment that prioritizes patient well-being 

Schedule:  

• Mon – Fri: 8a – 5p 
• Sat - Sun: Closed 
• Closed for Lunch: 12p - 1p 
    

Required Qualifications:  

• A Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) or Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.S. Pharm.) degree from an accredited institution 
• Valid, active pharmacist license in Minnesota in good standing with the Minnesota Board of Pharmacy 
• BCLS certification 

Preferred Qualifications:  

• Experience in Mental Health Clinical setting
