Retail Community Pharmacist

PharmServ has a PRN opportunity with a locally owned community pharmacy 101 miles north of Minneapolis, MN. This independent pharmacy is known for its service and close connection with the community. Pharmacists here enjoy flexible scheduling and a supportive team environment focused on patient care and accuracy. 

This setting provides a classic small-town pharmacy experience, where you’ll work alongside staff that are focused on helping patients manage their health safely and effectively. The role involves weekend coverage and occasional weekday shifts based on scheduling needs. 

Compensation for this Position:  

• Your negotiated hourly rate with PharmServ   
• Mileage reimbursement   
• Drivetime   
• Lodging and Per Diem if needed. 

Facility Duties and Expectations:  

• Review prescriptions for accuracy, safety, and appropriateness before dispensing 
• Provide patients with comprehensive medication counseling 
• Work with technicians and store staff to maintain efficient daily operations  
• Maintain compliance with state and federal pharmacy regulations and documentation standards 
• Provide clinical insight when reviewing complex medication profiles or therapy changes 
• Assist with medication synchronization and packaging programs 
• Deliver immunizations and health services within scope of practice 
• Contribute to a dependable, community-focused pharmacy environment built on accuracy and trust 

Schedule:  

• Saturdays + ongoing coverage as needed 

Pharmacy Hours of Operation: 

• Mon – Fri: 9a – 5:30p 
• Sat: 9a – 1p 
• Sun: Closed   

Required Qualifications:  

• A Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) or Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.S. Pharm.) degree from an accredited institution 
• Valid, active pharmacist license in Minnesota in good standing with the Minnesota Board of Pharmacy
